The Dream Team Faculty

The Dream Team Faculty is everything you would expect from the best...and more! A curated group of passionate performers and experienced educators with world-class college degrees, they've been hand-picked for their outstanding energy and lifelong commitment to learning and nurturing children. Each Dream Team Member receives ongoing 1:1 and group coaching, guest speakers, and teacher training in The Vielka Method™. Our teachers are committed to inspiring a lifetime of joyful, artful singing and life skills that go beyond the stage - stage presence, public speaking, empathy, listening, reflection, collaboration, revision, patience, perseverance, confidence!

The widest range of voice lesson times available six days a week

We offer voice and singing lessons seven days a week from early in the morning to late at night to accommodate your busy schedule. We offer both in-person NYC and online year-round lessons via Zoom for safe, convenient, consistent training anywhere in the world!

Vielka's Young Singers Academy has a proven track record of offering quality voice and singing lessons in NYC year-round. Our full time mission is teaching music lessons trusted by thousands of families for over fifteen years.

FREE student-only monthly events (In-person and virtual)

We host monthly events with our students that build global friendships, level-up performance skills, and ​just to have fun! These events are offered both in-person and virtual

FREE, all-inclusive student showcases with NO participation fees!

Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it is to have their child participate in a recital.

Many of our students choose to perform in our annual recitals. Unlike other schools, parents never have to pay admission or any related fees for these recitals.

Professional office staff to serve you

We strive to bring you the best customer service possible. We don’t have a studio location or front desk staff, but we do have our Director of Operations who works 7 days a week! Most music lesson providers do not provide front desk staff, but we have full time desk staff who are available at the front desk to assist you during ALL lessons, quickly and professionally. Excellent customer service is what sets us apart!

Make-up lessons

Missed a lesson? Out of town? No problem. Just sign up for our make up classes. They never expire, and you can come when it's convenient for you.

Early morning and lunch time lessons for home schoolers, retirees, college students and working professionals

We offer lessons as early as 7 a.m. and we see many students between the hours of 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.  If you are a homeschool parent, international student, retiree, college student or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our early morning and lunch time lesson spots.

Month to Month lessons

Our desire is to inspire our students with the love of singing. We do this through teachers and music that our students love. Unlike other programs, we do not require semester minimums for lessons. You can begin anytime! To stop lessons, we just need to know by the 15th of the month.

If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose as we only want students who truly want to be here and we will not commit you to a long term contract.

We take four well-deserved breaks each year to recharge

1. Thanksgiving

2.  Christmas

3. 4th of July

5. March Spring Break

Please note:
There are no lessons or makeups during these breaks.

Holiday Reschedules for Private Program Members Only

We value time to rest and celebrate with loved ones

There are no lessons on holiday closings.If you and your teacher would like to keep a holiday lesson, simply:    

•    Let your teacher know directly,    

•    Send us a Comment in Opus, or    

•    Email us at hello@youngsingersacademy.com.

Holiday Reschedule Make Up Credits will be issued in advance!

These credits are valid only for the corresponding month.
For example:

•    MLK Jr. Day credit is valid for January,   

•    Presidents’ Day credit is valid for February.  

•    If your family observes a holiday not listed, feel free to email us for a holiday reschedule credit!
